We're delighted to welcome Ortofon's UK representative to our showroom for an exclusive cartridge demonstration event. If you've ever wondered just how much difference a cartridge makes to the sound of your vinyl, this is your chance to hear it first-hand.
Over the course of the session, we'll be fitting and playing seven different cartridges — including models from Ortofon's brand-new MCX range — all mounted on a Pro-Ject Xtension 9 turntable. Same record, same system, different cartridge each time. It's the clearest way to hear what a cartridge upgrade actually does to the music.
Whether you're running a starter cartridge and curious about what's next, or you're already deep into vinyl and want to hear the MCX range before committing, this is an afternoon (or evening) well spent.
